Celebrate our neighborhood parks in Northeast Ohio

I had the honors of finding a walk review of the planned remediation project.  I was able to see and question Commissioner Kasych from the City, J Justice from the EPA, and an Independent Arborist.  They were accessing the Park Remediation Project this morning.

It is now known:

a) Funding for the project has been approved.
b) A meeting will be held with the community, possibly next week to review the project and take questions.
c) Approximately a dozen trees can be save using the plan of a tree well.  All other trees cannot be save and must be removed.
d) The soil barrier will permit water to permeate into the ground.  Plus extra drainage is to be tied into the park sewer system.
f) The City and EPA are aware of the residential properties being park of the old land fill.  This matter will be addressed at the meeting.
g) Their plan is to begin the work by the middle of August.
