Dear Commissioner Cox, Please provide confirmation that the City of Cleveland will not proceed with any tree removal at WC Reed Park - and that City of Cleveland is moving forward with supplying the FOIA documents requested. Specifically, residents should be able to see extent of construction and construction timetable. Park Maintenance Commissioner Richard Silva and Sr. Landscape Architect Don Kasych conducted a walk through with Councilman Cimperman and residents John Baran, Gloria and Tim Ferris, Connie Davis, Roland Kausen on Friday 5/17. Residents immediate to the park - John Baran, Roland Kausen, Cat Zurchin and others have been in contact with Councilman Cimperman, who supports their efforts to save the trees. Councilman Cummins and Brancatelli have also indicated their support of saving the trees. To date, I have not received any planning documents at the Cleveland Public Library Brooklyn Branch - as promised at the December 2012 community meeting. Thank you for your response to this urgent request - Southwest Citizens meets the first Thursday in June. Laura McShane
